FAQ

Are you in-network with my insurance?
We are not in-network with any insurance carriers, but should be covered under your insurances out-of-network benefits. For the visit fee, we can provide you with a superbill/receipt you may turn into your insurance to potentially be applied to your deductible or for reimbursement. You are encouraged to contact your insurance company regarding your individual plan’s out-of-network benefits. The lab tests, imaging, and/or prescriptions ordered in our office can be ran through your insurance if you wish. Our office does work with Quilted Health Billing services whom may also help you work with your insurance, if you would like, more info can be provided upon request.

Where do you see patients?
Midwife Tiffany practices primarily concierge style at this time, meaning she typically will come to your home for visits (antenatal, sick, wellness, hormonal, gynecological). She does have an office located in the rural Martinsville area where she will see patients if it is more convenient for them. She does not do home birth within her office space. Home birth must be in a home to be compliant with state laws.
-
How do we pay for visits?
Our office accepts cash, check, and credit/debit (FSH/HSA included). Card payments do come with a 3.5% +$0.15 fee that goes to the card processing company. Office visit fees are due at times of service. If you chose to pay out of pocket for lab services those fees are due at time of the draw or collection.
-
How do I find out how much my visit will cost?
Our office will provide a Good Faith Estimate prior to any visit or lab draw so you know exactly what the fee will be. If you are interested in a visit, you may ask prior to scheduling for an estimate of the visit fee. Feel free to email, call, or text message for an estimate. Our office number is 317-520-2703 or email midwifemoseley@icloud.com.

What to expect with my first appointment?
Prior to your first visit, our office will send you a link to a patient portal to fill out your information, history, and current issues. At your first visit, we will go through a consent packet to make certain you understand our policies and your rights. Midwife Tiffany will meet with you and complete an assessment. Together you will make a plan to address your needs. Labs may be drawn at that time if necessary or at a future time.

Are my children welcome at my appointment?
Absolutely, we understand the life of a busy woman and children are welcome. However, we encourage having activities and/or snacks to keep kiddos busy so as not to distract from your appointment time.
